Burt, the saltwater crocodile who rose to fame in the 1986 film “Crocodile Dundee,” has died at the estimated age of 90 at Crocosaurus Cove, an Australian reptile park in Darwin. The park announced the passing of the iconic reptile, which had been a main attraction for visitors.

Burt’s age was estimated, as the exact age of crocodiles can be difficult to determine. However, at over 90 years old, Burt was considered one of the oldest and most iconic crocodiles in captivity.

The film “Crocodile Dundee” starred Paul Hogan as the rugged outdoorsman Mick Dundee, who befriends a journalist, Sue Charlton, played by Linda Kozlowski. The movie follows their adventures in the Australian Outback, where they encounter Burt, a massive saltwater crocodile.

While Burt may be gone, Paul Hogan, the actor who starred alongside him, is still alive. Hogan, now 83, has continued to act in various films and television shows over the years.
