According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a Tornado Warning has been issued for several counties in southwestern Ohio, including Butler, Warren, and Montgomery. Residents in these areas are advised to take immediate action and seek shelter immediately.
Meanwhile, a Tornado Watch has been issued for the entire Miami Valley region, including Hamilton, Clinton, and Adams counties. This watch means that conditions are favorable for tornadoes to develop, but none have been sighted yet.
Heavy thunderstorms and the chance for severe weather will make their way through the Miami Valley Sunday evening, with winds gusting up to 60 miles per hour and large hail possible.
